75 years of the Wallberg railway
On 20 April 75 years ago, the Wallbergbahn went into operation after just nine months of construction and has been an integral part of the region around Lake Tegernsee ever since. We are celebrating the anniversary with numerous activities as part of themed months throughout the year, as well as with selected anniversary products.

To kick off the anniversary year, we are travelling back in time.
On the weekend of 18 & 19 April, we will be travelling at "prices like back then"
On these days, adults pay 5.00 euros for the ascent and descent, children 3.00 euros - corresponding to the price level of the 1950s.
On the following weekend, 25 & 26 April , our guests who appear in historical hiking attire will receive a discount on the ascent and descent.
In addition, the top and bottom stations will be decorated with memorabilia from the early years of the railway.

You drive. We donate.
In May, the anniversary year is characterised by social commitment. Under the motto "Ride with us for a good cause" , we will donate 75 cents per ascent and descent to up to four charitable organisations from the Tegernsee valley.
Associations and organisations can apply for the donation by e-mail at info@wallbergbahn.de.
The application does not have to follow a fixed form, but simply contain a brief overview of the organisation's work and the intended use of the donation.

Experiences for families and children
In June, families take centre stage. We would like to invite our younger guests in particular to join in the celebrations with various activities.
Throughout June, a treasure hunt will be set up on the mountain for families and children to enjoy.
The midsummer bonfire will take place on 20 June (alternative date 27 June).
On 21 June, the Miesbach rescue dog team will visit us with their dogs in the morning. Children can then be searched for by the rescue dogs, for example.

Running, flying, active on the mountain
The mountains are an Eldorado for various outdoor activities - with a wide variety of orientations. The Wallberg is also a popular meeting place for sports enthusiasts.

If you want to try it out for yourself, you can win a tandem jump in July.
Mountain running will also have its place. We are looking forward to the active participation of individual athletes, club teams, groups of friends etc. in an "everyone's mountain run" .
