The Wallberg Alpine Pasture Association introduces itself and invites you to its ‘Alpine Pasture Open Day’.
Since 1895, the Wallberg Alpine Pasture Association has been dedicated to the preservation and upkeep of alpine farming on the Wallberg. This association of local farmers manages and maintains the alpine pastures – and helps ensure that the mountain landscape remains accessible to everyone.
There are a total of five alpine pastures on the Wallberg.
On the day of the event, you’ll have the chance to learn more about alpine farming on the Wallberg right on the plateau and to chat with representatives of the Alpine Pasture Association.
The nearby Hintermauernalm, run by dairyman Franz, will be opening its doors to visitors.
