75 years of the Wallbergbahn
The Appeal of Mountain Sports in July
The mountains are a paradise for a wide range of outdoor activities – catering to all tastes. That’s why people love to meet up at the Wallberg to get active.
On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July, we’re inviting you to join in:
Look forward to a guided mountain run from the top station to the Setzberg and back.
This includes a workshop where participants will receive practical tips on running technique, equipment and the correct use of poles.
The run will be led by Martin Tauer, an experienced mountain runner and member of the Wallbergbahn team.
The focus is not on peak sporting performance, but on sharing the experience of the mountains together. Suitable for beginners!

Aerial acrobatics on Sunday 19 July:
On Sunday 19 July, acrobatic paragliders are planning an aerobatics display on the mountain, followed by a barbecue at the landing site.
To accompany this, the Wallbergbahn is holding a prize draw throughout July for tandem jumps organised by the Tegernsee Hang-Gliding and Paragliding Club, the Fliegerherz Paragliding School and Paragliding Oberbayern, open to all our guests.
