The Wallbergbahn is turning 75 - we want to celebrate!
To kick off our anniversary year, you can look forward to prices just like back in the 1950s.
On the weekend of 18 and 19 April, adults pay 5 euros for the ascent and descent, children 3 euros.

On the weekend of 25 & 26 April, our guests who appear in historical hiking attire will receive a discount on the ascent and descent as well as a small souvenir as a gift.

On 30 April 2026, we celebrate the start of May above the rooftops of Lake Tegernsee.
From 17:00 to 23:00, the panorama restaurant on the Wallberg will be transformed into a relaxed sunset dance location with breathtaking views of the lake and the Alps.
Look forward to house sounds in a special atmosphere with:

The price increases after the early phase sells out.

⛰️ Arrival & information
The Wallberg can also be reached on foot.
Alternatively, the Wallberg cable car can be used individually.
It is also possible to book only the descent.
With the combined ticket, you benefit from a cheaper total price than if you buy the cable car journey separately.

01 June / World Children's Day
The entire month of June is dedicated to the family at the Wallbergbahn.
So it's fitting that Monday, 1 June, is World Children's Day. We are taking this as an opportunity to invite children to the Wallberg on this day.
Children up to the age of 15 can ride the Wallbergbahn free of charge on 1 June.

The fire is lit at the mountain station at 9.30 pm.
The Wallberg cable car runs continuously until midnight (last descent). The ticket office of the cable car is open until 10 pm.
Hot food is served in the panorama restaurant at the mountain station until 9 pm.

A great experience for young and old! The rescue dog team visits us on the Wallberg.
The volunteer dogs and their owners introduce themselves and show what they can do.
If you like, you can let the dogs search for you, for example!
